Millcreek Inn: A Dreamy Canyon View Wedding Venue
If you’re dreaming of a canyon view wedding venue that feels like a private mountain escape—yet is still close to the city—Millcreek Inn might be your perfect match. Nestled in Millcreek Canyon just outside Salt Lake City, this lush and secluded venue offered the most beautiful backdrop for Miquela and Roberto’s intimate, joy-filled summer celebration. Surrounded by towering pines and soft golden light, their day felt like a romantic forest fairytale—complete with a vintage car, emotional toasts, and a whole lot of dancing.
From Poolside in Mexico to Forever
Miquela and Roberto met by pure chance—on separate trips to Mexico. She was with her girls. He was with his guys. They connected instantly, sharing laughs, drinks, and an unmistakable pull toward each other. When vacation ended, real life began. But the spark didn’t fade.
Between Utah and California, they kept their connection alive with late-night FaceTimes and weekend flights. Then, on Roberto’s birthday, Miquela told him she loved him. Twenty minutes later, her boss called with an offer to relocate to San Diego—just 25 minutes from Roberto. Two weeks later, she was gone from Utah… and in his arms.
Fast forward to a return trip to Puerto Vallarta. At the exact spot where they shared their first kiss, Roberto proposed. Spoiler: she said yes. And also, fun fact, did you know I’ve photographed in Cancun before?
Millcreek Inn: A Hidden Gem Canyon View Wedding Venue
While not in Park City itself, Millcreek Inn offers all the charm of a canyon view wedding venue—with pine trees, mountain air, and total privacy. With its cozy indoor dining, outdoor patios, fireplace lounges, and woodsy garden ceremony space, it feels like a tucked-away dream just 20 minutes from Salt Lake and 45 from Park City.
Their ceremony took place beneath the trees as warm light filtered through the canyon. Guests wiped away happy tears as the couple shared handwritten vows. During cocktail hour, Miquela and Roberto slipped away for portraits with a vintage Ford Thunderbird—an iconic touch thanks to Utah Vintage Cars.
